ABOUT US

        We are Patrick Mealey and Joyce Jackson, kindred spirits who together make up the FINE ARTIST team. We met and married in the Hamptons. FINE ARTIST operated a successful renovation and restoration business in the Hamptons for over 16 years.

        In 2001, we relocated our business and our lives to Perry, Maine after falling in love with the 'Downeast' coast on our honeymoon. We purchased and are in the process of restoring a circa 1893 farmhouse overlooking Boyden's Lake.

        Our home's restoration has garnered considerable interest, most recently in an episode of the HGTV show, "If Walls Could Talk", followed by feature stories in the Bangor Daily News and the Portland Press Herald. It will soon be featured in the national magazine, Old-House Interiors.

        We design, build and install one of kind kitchens, bathrooms, cabinets and furniture for your new or old home. Our background in the Fine Arts (we are both working artists) further enhances and informs everything we do. Coming soon is our furniture collection, 'Tradition of the New', inspired by antiques and folk art. With this venture we join with a long-standing tradition, Maine's cottage industry.
