handcrafted boxes

With our new line of decorative boxes we put a contemporary twist on an early American stencil technique.

Our inspiration comes from many sources like; folk art quilts, early American floor stencils and ancient geometric tile patterns.

We create and hand cut each stencil, build and paint boxes - then pounce them with metallic powders which create a luminescent finish. Each box is numbered and one of a kind.

Sweetgrass

This decorative dovetailed box is perfect for keepsakes, hiding remotes, as a gift or just to look at. Each side is different - no two boxes are exactly the same.

Sweetgrass is made of pine. The interior is left natural and sealed with a Polycrylic finish. The exterior is painted with Benjamin Moore Aura paint in Appalachian Brown - stenciled with a gold metallic powder.

A decorative dovetailed box that is made for housing 8 1/2" x 11" paper - perfect for your home office. You always know when you need more paper because the lid moves down as you use your paper.

The pine box is left natural on the inside and is sealed with a Polycrylic finish. The exterior is painted with Benjamin Moore Aura paint in black and stenciled with a silver metallic powder.
