Fineartistmade is the husband and wife design/build team of Patrick Mealey and Joyce Jackson - both working artists based in Down East, Maine. We specialize in kitchens and baths custom built to fit seamlessly in antique homes.
After many years restoring homes in the Hamptons - we made a move to a farm overlooking Boyden Lake. Our home's restoration has been featured on the HGTV show, If Walls Could Talk and Old-House Interiors magazine.
In 2009, we launched a furniture collection, The Tradition of the New - unique designs - a synthesis of folk art, antiques and contemporary living. Our pieces are handcrafted in our Perry workshop with wood harvested from sustainable forests - finished with environmentally friendly paint.
Check out our press page to see blog mentions and articles featuring fineartistmade. The most recent in Old House Journal magazine’s Special Fall Issue: Creating beautiful vintage baths. The article, “Baths Made Simple” explores our restoration philosophy using two projects: a stately Victorian mansion and country farmhouse.
