Husband and wife design/build team, Patrick Mealey and Joyce Jackson, fashion one-of-a-kind, quality furniture, kitchens, and baths.

We are both artists with a love of old homes. Patrick a painter, Joyce a photographer. Our background in fine arts and our interest in history enhance and inform everything we do. After many years in the Hamptons restoring homes - we made a move to a farm in Downeast Maine. Our home is featured in the July 2009 issue of Old-House Interiors.

This summer we have launched a new handcrafted furniture collection. The Tradition of the New - unique designs - a synthesis of folk art, antiques, our personal aesthetic and contemporary living. Our furniture is crafted in our Downeast workshop from wood harvested from sustainable forests and each piece is finished with environmentally-friendly paint. Everything from cabinets to chairs and occasional tables. With this venture, we join a long-standing tradition – Maine's cottage industry.
