Epic Ice Storm

We celebrated Christmas and rang in New Year with back to back winter storms. The worst in 15 years, they left us powerless for several days and internet-less for almost a month. It was surprising to see how a gentle freezing rain could produce both beauty and devastation in a single sweeping swath.
